The-Magdalene

I have my paintings back from the gallery and I am selling the ones that did not sell there (ie most of them!). Out of the 3 other exhibitors in the show only 1 painting was sold by 1 other person which was a bit dissappointing. From past experience we've figured that the gallery we used, although very nice, is not the sort of gallery that attracts *buyers*. It is attached to an art school and seems to attract a great many *art appreciators* (students and people without any money!) and the gallery were very pleased with our show but we didn't get the art buying crowd that we had hoped for :( Soooooo if anyone is interested in buying my work

I'm exhibiting in a collaborative exhibition starting April 4th. I will have all the 'Goddess' paintings and the 2 Nightside paintings (Guardian and Ophidia) on sale plus 2 huge Geishas is acrylic which will need to be photographed because there's no way I can get them on my scanner! Currently everything is at the framers - nail biting time! If you are in Auckland please do come along to the opening on Tuesday April 4th at Artstation, 1 Ponsonby Road 5-7pm (although I'm sure it will run for longer!) Time to get back to work on Monday. When i say 'work' i mean my design work not painting unfortunately. I have a bunch of sketches to finish and paint up but i just know that my design company is going to eat up the time. I'm expanding and need to find an office plus possibly contract another designer or mac-op to help me with the work load. Blagh.
